The Route

In the midst of loneness
Out of tears of despair
Trembling inside
Life weighs so much
At least that’s how it feels
In all directions I swim
Its hard to tell-I’m drowning within myself
I fight harder to maintain a float
Deeper- towed with two voices
“Let go” a voice pleading my soul
“You can not give up so soon” a voice affirming my heart
Am I meant to face the hurdle all through?
If I believe it, it will come true
Unable to declare a quit
The path of life is never a silky route

Hi Nasra! Life is never a silky road, a rather hilly one with cracks, stones and other sorts of sharp objects, though sometimes we get some relief. Just getting on myself hoping things will get better, curiousity mostly of what tomorrow might be. But generally, I feel somewhat like the stuff in your poem these days. Hope things are well with you.

Sometimes it can feel like a "silky route," and really be one for a while. But from what I've seen, I think few people have smooth sailing for more than some small part of their lifespan.
