Hands to save me

' I Want To Hold Your Hand '
Originally uploaded by Urban_Man.

I opened my mail box today
A poem was waiting for me
Waiting to be read
Wanting to be heard
After I read it so deeply
I turned the page within me
Seeking words to present who I am
Wanting to write so many poems
But my head can't put thoughts right
Words are blurred in my mind
The space is so vast inside
An empty page
So blank without words
Raw without ink touches
That is I at this point of time
I can not be snatched out of emptiness
For those hands to save me
In this abyss heart
Can only be by my own

Nasra Al Adawi

Many times we wait for someone else to save us. Yet we fail to see that the remedy is there within ourselves

Hello iamnasra,
I like your poem very much.
Yet it is the hand of God also when there is the hand of a neighbour.
Yesterday I attended a course where we spoke about the love of God.
I still have to learn a lot of that and to be prepared to love others.
- Thanks for visiting my blog.
Take care and be protected
Yours,
Heidi

When I was at my worst these last two months, my daughter would come to the hospital and read a message from you. I thank you Nasra from the bottom of my heart. You see, I have been real ill and it took its toll on not only my body, but my spirit as well. Indeed, I had to go inside myself for healing, because the doctors couldn't do it by themselves. You are a dear friend and I am blessed to know you. Much love, peace and blessing - Amias

Hi Nasra, I haven't visited for a while. Great to see you've written quite a few new poems. Loved this one, it's exactly how I feel sometimes -- want to write, but just can't get the words out right.
