Seeking

Butterfly and cocoon
Originally uploaded by krmuir.

As it falls
Droplet thoughts
In to the shell
Maybe its empty
Does not even hold
A tiny pearl
My shell holds
Fogs of thoughts
Lingering into my brain
I nip into its soul
To distill a poetry of my own
Then to unfurl poetic pages
Glossing through darkness
A butterfly merging
Out of cocoon of darkness
Releasing poetry
Just as butterfly
Unlocking her wings
About to take poetic flight
Then floating into sky
Seeking
Perhaps what is known
To me and you
Life seeking

Thanks all for your comments, I was so not upset but somehow down with myself as it was days that I did not touch my keyboard to write poetry. SO I was nibing into my brain to find inspiration and I told myself I dont think my brain has any poetry inside, I was somehow sure that its empty and that is when this poem came about

Great one, Nasra! Enjoyed this poem. Seems many people today are writing poems about our mental machinations.

I am not sure what kinda poem is it .. i mean .. what style that is .. because the traditional poetry rhymes. this is more like you are telling your thoughts ..
