The Birth

A sprout want to find away to live
In utterance reaching out life
Life breaks through dark soil
In fragile bud pushing its way to life
Learning how to seek light
Piercing through darkness
Blossoming out of a tiny seed
Hesitant trunk grasping to stand
But it just can’t push against time
There will be a time
When it will outgrow its fragile form
Standing affirm among plants of earth
The growth is gradual
No one can leap curves of life
A journey that has to be lived
Within its destined time
Once was a sprout
Now journeyed, sprouting to earth
To reach out light
In dignified stand on a floor of earth
Living the intimacy of life

How beautifully written Nasra...love the lines "Learning how to seek light/Piercing through darkness"... that is what it is all about isn't it, piercing the darkness of ourselves so we may live in the light.

Hi Nasra!
Your words are truly a gift. Your poem has an energy.
As bible said: "In the begining was the Word". What a power!

Very well written Nasra, although I have to add that you've captured the imagination in a unique brand way that shows the Nasra stamp on it. Keep it up sis, and hope to see more of your works.

The woods are a cool place, downright muggy in summer, but always full of life. Similar to your poems.
Thanks for visiting, you are always welcome.

As words emerge in your poetry, the thoughts glide, as though following the journey of the sprout. Lovely indeed! You made me blog again. May the Almighty bless you!!

So true. But why do I feel like I so often want to jump ahead or skip a part?
