~Only Tears Fall~
"A journey of relief
Begins with tears"
Liquid pearls
Droplet tears
On a leaf of soul
Gently falling
The surface can't hold
Intensity of pain
Smoothing the journey
For every tear to fall

Beautiful...thank you
Nice, and true.
When pain doesn't end and progresses over years then over a decade, a different reality unfolds - at least it did for me. (I don't know anyone else in a similar situation.)
You stop crying. You don't repress or try not to. The tears just don't happen anymore.
I've concluded from this that crying, at its essence, expresses that you're in trouble - a signal that you need help. When it finally sinks in that no help is coming, the tears themselves understand their pointlessness and stop.
Tears always reappear when the thought bounce back. But for that moments, tears can bring a good feeling of relief by expressing it in our own way. Tears for joy and pain only matters in mind, but the pain never goes coz it stays forever in the heart.
I didn't even know about this blog, glad you mentioned it to me. Thanks so much, i'll be stopping by more often. Love the poem.
