Listening to a report on the building-arcitecture of Doha, Qatar the reporter remarked that it looked like they had a design contest and everybody won!
So then I search Muscat, Oman and, oh my . . . the Pearl Mosque appears! What simplicity of design; and for the "oyster" to rise and fall within the sea is an added pleasure. As an engineer, I wonder how the movement of the oyster was accomplished. And without visible signs of a track to guide the motion.
A true example of mans' approach to god.
