~ Miscarriage ~

You remained so still
Loved your silence
I wasn’t aware
That was the sign
Of drifting away from me
Yet I waited for heartbeats
Beats that were silent for awhile
Then I never heard it
I remained delusional
That you will exist within my existence
Yet, the truth is ..
You have long drifted away

great poem on the issue, Nasra,
(it sounds very personal and real....and that's a bit troubling, i must say,

and nice to see poetry coming to you, Nasra..after the last one -- i've read many people write on the issue of baby loss -- but this was different -- very different,

wishes,

So the poetry is back but with a sad note.
Maybe the words will expose and take away some the pain. I hope

Sad affair. Words to match.
Loss before life is never to have experienced breath, or smile.

Life is precious and when gone, hurt and sadness.

How is Zi? Keeping you busy, I venture.
