To Remember You

Full moon tonight
I want to remember it, through your eyes
Inspirable night
Arising my inner tide
I want to erase any droplet of pain
Allowing only happy memories to remain
I want to remember you in kind
Just to know that you touched my soul, it’s an endless gain
Carrying this memory in my after life ride
I want to remember you with nothing else, except with love

Sometime we let go of those might be a friend or even part of family in spare of anger or hurt. Should we go through hard choices? Let us not revolve on the point that they had hurt us.. Let us give a room for forgiveness. If it’s hard to forgive then remember them at least with good memory.

beautiful lines!!

its not easy to let go of hurt but you have got to do it, for yourself, most of all. sometimes it even seems ridiculous to hold grudges for many years. there are some people i know who nurse their grudges into big cactii.

Thank you **very much***for your many compliments & inspiring feedback on my poetry and my artwork!. I dearly wish we lived near each other for a writer's group. I feel a kinship and will email you very soon! I"d love to share more writing and art with you.

Your poem is soothing and radiates the beauty of your words. LIke another commenter, I especially like the phrase "inspirable night /arising my inner tide". The entire poem flows in word choice and feeling. It also shows a person I'd like to meet. :)

Meanwhile, I"m sorry I haven't dropped in. I'm finishing up a collage painting, based on my current poem & a similar painting.

I'll be donating that, as one of 14 artists honored to have been chosen. The artworks will be rafffled off to raise $ for a huge new Community Arts Center: art of all types: visual, performing (music, dance, theatre), book and poetry readings, signings, and more! :) Maybe I'll summon the courage to submit poetry there besides my artwork.... If they take showings from around the world, I'll be emailing you about that..

(Also thx for the recent dropping in to say hello. That made my evening. I'm about to spend alone time w/ my husband, a rarity with 2 kids!) Take care- I'll be back to read here later in the wk!
