A Sip of Ecstasy

The above poetry is written by Patry Francis.
Gulnaz went in depth to find out all about her inspirational writing.

Thank you so much Gulnaz for sensational interview

Hope all will enjoy the interview and hope will inspire you.
~L I P ~

I always knew somehow I get drunk, so drunk. Yet, without running alcohol in my blood, I get so drunk with poetry. This was affirmed as I read translated article of Charles Baudelaire in
Lorena’s Blog.

A Sip of Ecstasy

(A poem inspired by the above poem of Patry Francis)

Poetry
I breathe in its addiction
Drunk to the last droplet of words
Dazzled
Into the sensation of what it brings
And I feel so alive
Floating over the clouds
The ecstasy of this sip
I’m all high in words
Poetry swirls my life
Yet it takes more of me
It claims my soul
My whole being submits
Without a single resistance
Taking off so gladly

Poetry affects me that way too. Many people - no. I think it must be, in most cases, because they aren't good with language. They have too much trouble with the words and can't reach the point where they hear them "sing."

Nasra, thanks for blogrolling me. Don't think I've returned the favor yet, but I will next update - I have to ask my sister to do that from time to time, I'm not so good with computers...

Nasra, I love that you wrote a poem after reading mine. It's wonderful when poetry isn't an isolated voice in the dark but a true conversation.

Thanks so much for featuring me.
